Providing solutions for our clients’ challenges is where we excel. One of our more recent challenges entailed the removal of an existing complex heat exchanger coil and the fabrication and installation of a new coil.
This complex heat exchanger project provided an opportunity for our experienced tradespeople to pass on skills to a new generation.
Our local client processes pine for the manufacture of resins and adhesives in their plant.
We recently manufactured this heat exchanger in our workshops. Three coils were individually rolled and formed in-house by our team of skilled tradespeople. Then the coils were wound together to form the 3-coil heat exchanger.
Once we completed hydro testing, we moved the heat exchanger to the client’s site where it was lifted into the existing vessel to replace the redundant coil.
We’re proud of our team of project managers, tradespeople and apprentices who completed this project in such a short timeframe. Well done team!
